Staff Members
- All programme staff, including the management programme, are managed in terms of BADISA's staff policy.
- The service conditions, disciplinary procedures as well as the grievance procedures followed by BADISA are set out in this policy.
- A remuneration guideline with a minimum and maximum salary scale per position is determined by BADISA on an annual basis.
- Each programme makes its own decisions about the positional structure required and handles the recruitment, selection and appointment of staff.
- It also decides on the remuneration package and deals with the grievances of staff.
- The programme is responsible for the staff's performance management and discipline. Appointment of staff in management positions is done in consultation with and with the approval of BADISA.
- BADISA realizes the importance of training and the development of knowledge and skills in order to be able to deliver a relevant, quality service.
- That is why supervision, practical leadership and training in strategic human resources, financial management and the various aspects of service delivery are provided.
- The organization makes provision for a detailed orientation programme for new board members as well as staff members.
- A well developed induction manual is available including the organization's mission, aims and other important information.
