Early childhood development

  • BADISA already has 26 registered crèches focused on the early childhood development programs for needy children.
  • Between birth and nine years of age, children develop the most, and during this period the fundamentals of learning and value development are established.
  • Early childhood development is an integrated program focused on protection, feeding and education of pre-school children.
  • The children's immunization and birth registration are also monitored here and parental education is provided.
  • The Children's Act determines the requirements for the registration and program of crèches.
  • There is an increasing need for development programs for pre-school children in poor communities and the social services offices attempt to establish home tutoring and daycare by providing the necessary resources.
  • The offices also identify unregistered crèches and guide them in the process of registration and provide assistance in terms of the management and the program for children.
