- The homes are also a haven for elderly people who are homeless or abused.
- BADISA cared for 4800 elderly people in these homes. Some homes also provide respite care and daycare.
- The service centre's provide support services to the elderly who are still living in their communities.
- These services include the provision of meals, cleaning services, medical and pastoral care, sports and social activities.
- The service centre's also provide social services to support the families and protect the elderly against exploitation and abuse.
- BADISA reaches approximately 5000 elderly people through the service centre's annually.
- Some service centre's also have home based care programs where caregivers care for sick and vulnerable elderly persons at their homes.
